Responsibility
Equality and Anti-discrimination
We believe that no one working within our supply chain should be discriminated against because of their nationality, gender, sexual orientation or identity, religion, ethnic origin, class, disability or any other factor.
This is a commitment that is fundamental to our business values and as a progressive company we require of all our factory partners that no discriminatory practices are used within their business.
Modern Day Slavery
At no point in our supply chain do we accept the use of slavery or forced labour. This is particularly prevalent in the cotton industry. Due to this the below policy on the use of cotton must be followed:
Due to continued violations of the governments in Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan where systemic forced labour, child labour and violence are used to fulfil cotton quotas, cotton that is grown in these countries should not be used anywhere within our products.
Due to the recent reports from civil society organisations and the media regarding forced labour of ethno-religious minorities in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region we will suspend the use of cotton from this area of China. This will be suspended until confirmation that forced labour and imprisonment is not occurring and evidence of this can be obtained.
In order to manage the above we need evidence of the supply chain in our production. Please refer to the Traceability and Supply Chain section.
Traceability and Supply Chain
No Land is actively mapping the supply chain in order to get full visibility from the fields, through the chain, to the customer.
We feel really passionate about the way we do business and want to ensure the industry is left in a better condition than when we came into it. With that in mind we want to work closely with our factory partners to get as much visibility as possible. This will be an ongoing project that continues to develop as new business routes are established but we want our factory partners' commitment to help us with this process, ensuring visibility when information is requested.
Animal Welfare Policy
Animal Welfare is fundamental to No Land ethics and we are committed to ensuring that animals lives are improved by our involvement in the garment industry.
The below policy outlines the animal products that are not allowed to be used within garments we produce. This is due to cruel methods of animal husbandry, cruel methods of obtaining the yarn or may aid species extinction.

No use of fur pelts. This includes Mongolian Lambs fur and Karakul Lambskin.
No use of Angora or other rabbit fur.
No use of fibre derived from live plucking of animals.
